Republicans have always been their own worst enemy. I would love to be crazy as a loon so I could be a “RAT” and at least belong to a party that fights to win.

I still wonder if the letter was sent to DiFi to let her know of the “blackmail” potential for Kavanaugh if he is seated because yes, there is suspicion that Roberts was blackmail to affect his decisions.
Whatever the purpose of sending the letter, there is the flimsiest of evidence for the claim. Virtually none.
What Grassley is trying to do is nail down the last few GOP votes. He gets one shot at a committee vote. If that fails, Kavanaugh’s nomination ends.
