I agree. It doesn’t matter what he does, he will still be accused of being unreasonable and a bully. But, hopefully, he will be able to get some credit from rational independents that he made every reasonable attempt to give her a forum to air her grievance.
I still don’t think she’ll testify.
He looks like a ridiculous wet noodle. This is really beyond belief. The optics right now are that this woman is a fraud and doesn’t want to testify. Every accommodation has been made for her, but it is clear that this is all a stall tactic.

Grassley needs to make it very public that he has given her multiple opportunities for multiple days at multiple times and then, if she still doesn’t show up, the majority of the public will get that her non-appearance was her fault.
