Letters warning parents about the dangers of viral meningitis were sent home to schools in Genesee, Saginaw and Tuscola counties.
The latest was just sent Thursday to Springview Elementary School in Flushing and Marshall Greene Middle School in Birch Run.
The outbreak has many people wondering why there’ve been so many cases in such a short period of time.
"It's caused by certain viruses that are common from July through October, so it's not unusual first of all for these cases to occur,” said Dr. Gary Johnson, medical director for Genesee County Health Department.
Johnson has been monitoring the recent cases of viral meningitis but said this is no surprise in school districts with several children.

The question about illegals is a good one. Also might be anti-vaxxer parents. Both.
But you can depend on school officials, local bureaucrats, and the enemedia to be dishonest about it if any of the above is/are the case.
Marshall Greene Middle School - 91% white
Springview Elementary School - 70% white
Middle Eastern students are considered white. Both schools are about 80-90 miles outside the muzzy stronghold of Dearborn, Michigan.
It spreads more easily in areas where larger numbers are confined.
It's just a random thing. Nothing more.
The Deadly Virus was brought to Michigan, by another Deadly Virus called Islam, which wipes its behind with their hands.

Oh, please! How many unvetted or non-quarantined third world “migrants” are in their schools? Feel-good multiculturalism will kill your children. But look at the bright side: at least people won’t think you are racist.
A friend just died of meningitis a few months ago. She had a very bad headache. She went to the ER and they sent her home, thinking it was just an old back injury flaring up. A couple days later she’s on life support. They took her off it and she died.
