Grassley is not caving. He does not have the votes to confirm. As soon as he does, he will vote. Somebody on the republican side is holding out

Have the dam vote ...if it fails it still goes to the senate

If the GOP cannot pass it in the senate after all this...there the biggest fools in the world..

Soon somebody is going to have to say, “No more.”

Deflect, defy, delay, deny.

All time-honored (but not honorable) strategies of the Democrat socialist progressive liberal left.

When the facts and the logic are both not on your side, bang the table with your shoe and call the other side the whole litany of bad names.

We have heard this song before.

I’m amazed and disheartened that so many FReepers want to blame Grassley for this.

If nothing else, he’s been solid on getting judges through his committee

” He does not have the votes to confirm. “

Flake or Collins.

Grassley has already scheduled the committee vote on Kavanagh for 10:00 AM Monday. Everyone knows Ford won’t show. Grassley can keep giving her extended deadlines all weekend. Who cares?

Interesting theory but not plausible. If a Republican is holding out despite Grassley inviting Ford to testify, then I can't conceive of what would cause them to vote for Kavanaugh under any conditions, in which case they'd just pull the nomination.
