No kidding. And DiFi gets away with giving Grassley the finger when he asked for a copy of the original Ford letter, so right off the bat the Repubs on the Committee are placed at a disadvantage, as is Kavanaugh.
Grassley is an utter embarrassment.
That's why Grassley won't hesitate to string this thing out until Election Day. Ford initially "demanded to be heard," and then immediately hired a team of lawyers that has demanded all kinds of ridiculous conditions for her testimony. That quickly undermined Ford's credibility -- probably beyond repair.
Once she did that, she looks like a total fool if she refuses to testify but then runs to the TV cameras to interviews about her allegations.
Ford, her legal team, and the Democrats were like the dog chasing the car down the road. The Republicans are all inside the car, and Grassley has been slowly depressing the gas pedal in the hopes that the dog will catch up to them.
In this case, the "dog" knows what's happening and just keeps running slower. LOL.

Again this ultimately is a result of the failed leadership of Mitch McConnell and Cuck Grassley! Too bad POTUS Trump doesn’t have the guts to call out his own party’s GUTLESS gutless leadership BY NAME instead of just blaming the DimRats! This Kavanaugh fiasco is solely due to the piss poor GOP leadership in the Senate along with Trump NOT specifically calling them out!
For the next five days her lawyers are going to be on every cable news program with their names right below their faces. They'll do just fine in the publicity department.
