Another cold case solved by DNA. This guy was married, had a good job at UC Berkeley, apparently rape was just a hobby, maybe only when his wife was out of town.

Damn, I hope they dont still have the DNA found on skyjacker DB Coopers cigarette butt filters someone could be in trouble, maybe even a comfortable FReeper.
Just kidding (I think) but this new familial DNA examination to find criminals is remarkable and should continue to get some monsters off our streets.

On a side note, I guess some people don’t realize what they’re doing by sending their DNA off in the mail. Surprise.
The DNA probably matches a sample from a rape test kit. So they should have the right guy. Good this guy is off the streets, regardless.
