GOP heading for midterm wipeout as Blue Wave scenario gives Democrats 12-point generic ballot lead
CNBC ^ | 10-22-2018 | John Harwood

The new NBC News-Wall Street Journal survey, taken six weeks before Americans head to the polls, shows Democrats leading Republicans by 52 percent to 40 percent for control of Congress. If it holds, that 12 percentage point margin would suggest a "blue wave" large enough to switch control of not just the House but also the Senate.

Democrats will fight to the bitter end and never give up no matter what. Voters have just grown sick and tired of Republicans not fighting for what they believe (what do they believe?)and hiding in the tall grass whenever a controversy arises.

They can no longer depend on those of us who, in the past, have voted for "the lesser of two evils". Far too many Independent and Republican conservatives have had enough and will sit on their votes come November.

The next two to four years will be a nightmare for those of us who love our country and the fault will lie directly on the shoulders of the feckless Republican Party.

And if the Dems win this time there will be no question that all the voting was accurate and we stopped the Russians from interfering.

Fake science gives us fake polls.

And complacency will give us a blue wave.

"Don't worry about the polls! they all said Hillary would win! We've got this in the bag!"

Sadly, current Republican Senate cowardice isn't exactly encouraging turnout.

Bigger spending gap than that. Cantor spent $5 million, Brat somewhere around $150k.

35 Senate seats and all 435 House seats and all House seats are up for election....
House has 236 GOP, 193 Democrats and 6 Vacancies up for votes. It would be
hard for the Dems to take control of the House.

No surprise given all the Demo/Commi BS flying around. You just have to look at Pelousy, Feinbomb, Schmuck Schumer, Maxine leaky waters, “Big DICK” Turbin to wonder how America spawned such garbage/trash. Truly, turds rise to the top !!

To hell with these bums. Just get out and vote. Its the only thing honest folks like us have to defeat these sons of beehives.

You know, these clowns never ask me these questions. I just go to the polls and cast my ballot. I don't care what they think, with their metrics and sampling error and cross-sections of voters. It will be up to us unpolled deplorables to make a difference, and if we don't at least try by getting out our vote, the Blasey Fords of the world will just walk all over us.

Like 2016, look at the Trump rallies and tell me there’s a Blue Wave other than the toilet bowl!

Even more disastrous for Cantor who made the mistake of being on the wrong side of the Tea Party.

If conservatives would find and run DINOs in ‘Rat primaries, that would help.

Why are we fighting half a battle?

Democrats need to ensure that blue wave by being absolutely certain that there’s no Russian interference. Support an emergency measure to secure the voting process, voter ID, no evil Russians voting so no one who is not a citizen will be permitted into a voting booth. Paper ballots, preserved for posterity, no destroying them, counted by hand and monitored by a bipartisan, disinterested third party.

That should secure that blue wave, lol.

I don’t know how accurate any poll is anymore. Because there are cell phones which are difficult for pollsters to find by name of owner and on which it is easy to avoid answering calls. I seldom answer a cell phone call if the calling number is not on my contact list of about 150 entries.

However the democrats are very angry because Trump is dismantling one by one what their demigod Obama had installed. Republicans are not angry and therefore have less energy to make the effort to vote.

So....VOTE with gusto because this mid-term election is very important for the Trump agenda to make further progress.

I listen intensely when out in public and almost without fail, every conversation that talks about politics says two things:

First, most seem to like President Trump's policies and how they've turned this economy around so quickly, even if they really don't like his tweets;

Second, they're really disgusted with the Democrats behavior since PDJT got elected. This whole Democrat generated fiasco around Brett Kavanaugh just gives them another reminder of why they don't like the Democrat Party leadership and don't want Pelosi back in power in the House.

The reality is, all this manufactured drama has made a lot of people learn the names of both parties leadership so when they go to vote they have in mind who they DO NOT want in charge of the House and Senate. Hoping that translates down to their local rep's.

I think the Dem's are in for a big surprise come November. They're not going to re-take the house and they'll be so disillusioned because they believed the polls again we may finally see the end of Pelosi (retirement or better yet she commits suicide) and Schumer (found dead in Fort Marcy Park ala Vince Foster style.)

That'd be sweet.

FWIW, their final poll was Clinton +4, with a +-2% accuracy, and the final vote was Clinton +2, so they were pretty close, within their margin.

I absolutely love love love these dire predictions.

But you wanna know what I really love? It is laughing at them when they get blowed out like they did on November 8, 2016.

It almost makes life worth living!

I would probably tell them I’m voted for the Democratic, too.

Let them think they have the lead.
