I don’t know how accurate any poll is anymore. Because there are cell phones which are difficult for pollsters to find by name of owner and on which it is easy to avoid answering calls. I seldom answer a cell phone call if the calling number is not on my contact list of about 150 entries.
However the democrats are very angry because Trump is dismantling one by one what their demigod Obama had installed. Republicans are not angry and therefore have less energy to make the effort to vote.
So....VOTE with gusto because this mid-term election is very important for the Trump agenda to make further progress.

FWIW, their final poll was Clinton +4, with a +-2% accuracy, and the final vote was Clinton +2, so they were pretty close, within their margin.

It is an unfortunate feature of any two-party system that kicking out the majority for malfeasance (which is necessary) puts the other guys, who may be, and in our case are, worse, in power.
I am voting for Eddie Edwards (R) for Congress and John Sununu (Rino) for governor, but I can reason abstractly and understand the lesser of two evils.
The majority in Congress, however, is so horrible and has failed the people again and again, never mind their constant undermining of the man we sent there to straighten sh*t out, that it will not surprise me in the least if they are wiped out, down to 140-160 seats - because they certainly deserve it.
Let’s for a moment assume this is true. GOP will lose in Nov.
Then they’d better stop wasting time and confirm Kavanaugh NOW!

Coming from John Harwood, assume half that deficit is a hope and a prayer (not that I suspect Harwood ever prays).
It better not be true. If this is true, we are finished as a country. With judges stopping trump at every turn, we’re almost finished already. Losing the house would be horrible and the senate debilitating.
I feel that loss of control of the House is a given, given history and NeverTrumpers in the GOPe.
The Senate too is unfortunately in play for the DemonRats. Their base is angry and motivated by TDS.
We do our selves a disservice by automatically dismissing unfavorable polls as junk or fake. The question is will the GOPe put up a fight to stay in power?
