Tell that to the money changers, the external state that caused Jesus to curse an "innocent" fig tree (Lesson in that), and those who blaspheme the Holy Spirit calling good evil and evil good.
On point, this teen should be welcomed as a new believer but taught sexuality does not come before God. Certain sacrifices and responsibilities as one grows in the Faith. Temptation will make us fall for a time and get back up again, however, pride in what God declares particular behaviors a sin will lead to the person falling forever.
