Actually I would have Sessions hold a press conference and announce that the FBI will re-open the background investigation with this caveat:
Anyone who has an allegation against Judge Kavanaugh has until close of business Tuesday to file a sworn affidavit of the allegation under penalty of perjury. If any accusers are determined to have made false allegations they will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
