He should indeed file suit for defamation...the bar is high for a “public figure” but these allegations if indeed fabricated meet that bar. People cannot be allowed to get away with making up smears like this or they will only continue to get worse.

It’s easier to sue for defamation than one thinks especially if it’s a career related and the accusations are saying someone raped someone.
Who sets the bar? Maybe the Supreme count, with Justice Kavanaugh, will be inclined to lower the bar.
