If Trump fires him, he becomes a tool of the left once again. The media will tout his "persecution" by the Trump administration and the court of public opinion will be his "get out of jail free" card. But if Trump declassifies the FISA documents, Rosenstein will stand trial for seditious conspiracy and spend 20 years in the pokey. Or, perhaps he's prefer to become a tool of the right and trade time for bigger fish up the leftist food chain. POTUS will not fire Rosenstein. Bank on it.

Sounds like Trump delegated the decision to Kelly to avoid charges of obstruction of justice.
Trump is in New York. Kelly will fire Rod this morning in DC. Smart move.
