Amnesty International is calling on senators to to halt the nomination of Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh over his "possible involvement" in human rights violations after the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001.
The human rights organization wrote in a Monday letter that Kavanaugh might have been involved "in issues related to torture and rendition after 9/11."
"More information must be made public to determine Kavanaughs role in relation to such practices," the organization wrote.

And anyone the left opposes so strongly must be a good man to be on the court.
Amnesty International is showing their leftist colors. After 9/11 the Bush Administration had a crisis situation to handle. Interrogation techniques were necessary to prevent further catastrophic events like the collapse of the Twin Towers. Just because Kavanaugh worked in the Bush Administration, the call to have secret files brought into scrutiny should have no bearing on his confirmation. This is an effort to delay the confirmation and to get into top secret information. Next we will see President Bush hauled before the world court.
