That war was almost 70 years ago; anyone who knew them has long since gone on to join them.

I would rather have had our POWs from that war (who were kept by the Chinese; probably deceased by now) and the POWs from the Vietnam war
returnd.

The US has a doleful reputation for forgetting those it left behind.

Politely disagree.   For example:   "Missing Korean War soldier's sons receive their father's dog tag"

(It's not an either/or proposition -- both things should be done.)
