I thought they were legally protected how did they get fired? Seriously how?
Sounds work one resigned and one reassigned.
Worked with government employees on and off for 6 years at the VA hospital system.
There were a few that were disgusting, read magazine’s all day long. talked to their friends on the phone. Didn’t lift a finger ALL DAY LONG.
Others employees were the best I ever seen. They picked up the slack for those basically on the dole.
60 Minutes did a hidden camera at that VA not long after I left. A quadriplegic patient who the nurses would bring food and leave, come pack later and take the tray away and say “Oh you weren’t hungry and ignore the guy saying “I can’t feed myself.” Soon the other vet’s stepped up to the plate and fed this guy. Other nurses busted their butts.
The only thing I agreed with FDR is his stance that there should never be federal union cuz they are not using investor money but taxpayers.
