WTNH) - Senator Chris Murphy is urging the U.S. Department of Education to stop allowing school districts to use federal funds to arm teachers.

He asked the education panel for research on arming teachers.

"Are any of you aware of any data that suggest arming teachers makes our schools safer? Neither am I," he said.

This the first I have heard the government is paying for firearms to be used by teachers, private or public. When did this happen??

I believe teachers should be allowed to arm themselves if they wish, but never mandate such a thing. Keep the feds out of the schools!!!

“”Are any of you aware of any data that suggest arming teachers makes our schools safer? Neither am I,” he said.”

But we are certain of what happens when teachers aren’t armed.

FU Murphy you political POS.

Are you aware of any data that suggests liberal policies, gun free zones, apathy from law enforcement and a disgraceful mental health system leads to school shootings?

Schools are run by the states. Let them decide. If you don’t like it, your state doesn’t have to do it, Murphy.

Chris Murphy would rather your kids be slaughtered like sheep.

If it would lead to gun confiscation, democrats could care less about school children's deaths.

Senator Chris Murphy is urging the U.S. Department of Education to stop allowing school districts to use federal funds to arm teachers.

This is expected from an America-hating worm like Sen. Chris Murphy (Idiot - CT).

He worked overtime to ensure that the Iranian mullahs were rewarded with hundreds of billions of dollars by Obama and the Obamunist liars and traitors within his regime.

At the same time, nothing is more important to Chris Murphy than making sure that Americans (including American kids and teachers) can not defend themselves from terrorists and criminals.

Chris Murphy empowers our enemies while working hard to destroy our hard-fought freedoms and our civil rights.

What is wrong with Chris Murphy? Why does Chris Murphy have such a vicious hatred for good and decent people, and a profound love for murderous criminals?

"WTNH) - Senator Chris Murphy is urging the U.S. Department of Education to stop allowing school districts to use federal funds to arm teachers"
FR: Never Accept the Premise of Your Opponent’s Argument

Post-17th Amendment ratification Democratic Senator Chris Murphy doesn’t seem to understand that the states have never expressly constitutionally delegated to the unconstitutionally big federal government the specific power to regulate, tax and spend for INTRAstate schooling purposes.

In fact, President Thomas Jefferson had officially indicated that the states would first need to appropriately amend the Constitution before the feds could stick their big noses into intrastate schooling, something that the states have never done.

"On a few articles of more general and necessary use, the suppression in due season will doubtless be right, but the great mass of the articles on which impost is paid is foreign luxuries, purchased by those only who are rich enough to afford themselves the use of them. Their patriotism would certainly prefer its continuance and application to the great purposes of the public education, roads, rivers, canals, and such other objects of public improvement as it may be thought proper to add to the constitutional enumeration of federal powers [emphases added]"—Thomas Jefferson : Sixth Annual Message to Congress

So not only should the U.S. Department of Education not exist imo, but please consider the following.

Note that a previous generation of state sovereignty-respecting Supreme Court justices had clarified that Congress cannot appropriate taxes for INTRAstate spending purposes.

"Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States."—Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.

So the federal funding for arming teachers that misguided Sen. Murphy wants to stop is arguably state revenues that should never have left the states in the first place, such revenues stolen by means of unconstitutional federal taxes according to the Gibbons v. Ogden excerpt above.

The remedy for the unconstitutionally big federal government that appropriates unconstitutional taxes …

Patriots need to fire corrupt career lawmakers in the upcoming election and replace them with state sovereignty-respecting patriot lawmakers who will not only support Pres. Trump’s vision for MAGA, but will also stop stealing state revenues with unconstitutional federal taxes.

And to make such changes as permanent as possible under the Constitution, patriots need to support Trump in leading the states to repeal the 16th and 17th Amendments.
