Go to a hundred judges, and I suspect that 99 of them will tell you the statements are of no value. If this had occurred a year or two after the event....maybe they would have value. But in this case...no.
What is on display right now is the left’s ardent want to usurp the rule of law and millenia of legal precedent (e.g. presumption of innocence) in lieu of some sick, mob rule mentality that should be taken serious at any cost.
Americans should be tingling with concern about all of this. If the left gets their way, American law becomes no different than what Spain saw during the inquisition.

In another declaration, Rebecca White, a neighbor and friend of more than six years, said Ford revealed the alleged assault against her in 2017.

OK, here’s my take...
THAT’s NOT CORROBORATION.
It’s evidence that she TALKED ABOUT the allegations, but more than THREE DECADES LATER.
Actual corroboration would be much more CONTEMPORANEOUS.
But still, it would tend to establish that this didn’t come up recently through a memory-recall session with Democratic activists.
Seems TIME doesn’t know what corroborate means.
Funny how these statements appear now, and not when Ford first sent her letter a few months ago.
I read this as someone that heard nothing but hearsay. Was he a witness? This should not be admissible.
I’ve read those are declarations, not affidavits.
And apparently there IS a difference.
Third party hear say won’t cut it.

The closer we get to Thursday, the less it looks like she is going to testify.

If this actually happened with Judge K there would be an enormous number of women stepping forward to legitimate this. These types of behaviors are not isolated one-offs
