The lawyer Michael Avenatti on Wednesday identified another accuser of Supreme Court pick Brett Kavanaugh, Washington resident Julie Swetnick.
Swetnick, in an affidavit posted online by Avenatti, claims that Kavanaugh, as a high school student in the early 1980s, with others spiked the drinks of girls at house parties with grain alcohol and/or drugs to "cause girls to lose inhibitions and their ability to say 'No.' "
Swetnick said these efforts by Kavanaugh and his buddy Mark Judge were done so the girls "could then be 'gang raped' in a side room or bedroom by a 'train' of numerous boys."

Why does she list Mark Judge first in all of the references in her statement?
Seems that the strategy is to focus on Judge, get him to admit to being out of control and doing gross things in high school, and then connect Kavanaugh to him through guilt by association.
Judge wrote a book about what a drunk jerk he was in high school, so he is a rich target for this tactic.
If they had anything solid directly on Kavanaugh, they would not be focusing so much on Judge.
cnbc calls it a sworn affidavit, creepy porn lawyer call it a sworn declaration.
I ain’t no lawyer. All I know is that it’s signed, supposedly by her. No witness signatures or notary though so I don’t know the legalities of it. Can she be held accountable for signing it if it matches her signature? Dunno
Will she swear to it later? Who knows.

On point...IF this really happened, according to one where it did happen, you never forget, you remember details, dates, times, what he was wearing, smells, violence, everything. The fact that this serious offense might occur and you not know the details is so far from reality to suggest compliance with the incident and regret later on according to my friend.
She was emphatic, this is fake, and had nothing to do with sex, or violence against women. She is offended that they have taken something very personal, and perverted it for political reasons. Diminishing a tragic and personally life changing event and relegating it to political expediency.
Women everywhere should call this out for what it is, a political attack on an adversary, to delay a vote, with the goal of installing a more liberal judiciary, more to their liking, and forestalling a confirmation until after the Mid-Terms.
I fear she is right.
I’m guessing for this lie, she’s looking at at least $ 250,000. She may have been a slut who went to 10 parties where she was seemed to have no issues with being gang banged.. knew some of BK;s associates were there and decided to place him at the parties also...
Se sure at least 2 others people who were there will also be paid and lie about BK, Dems learned from 1st two without other witnesses, the charge can easily be dismisses. Just wait, shortly Avenatti will produce two others who will sign a document saying they were there. That will be the end of BK

For the record I do not believe this woman. But it reminds me of the comment that if somebody is willing to trade their life for that of the President... (you know the rest).
If Julie Swetnick is a credible person who has held all kinds of clearances, etc - it will damage Kavanaugh. Her claims are indeed outrageous, but that’s why her credibility matters. Throwing this out their now still damages him, as Murkowski and Collins may believe she has the “right” to be heard.

My take:
No recent work experience - she is probably no longer really employable or on early retirement/disability.
Gaithersburg HS kids were unlikely to be at same parties kids from Georgetwon Prep kids were at - kids tend to associate withing same soical circles. In early 80s Gaithersburg was far outer suburbs 20 miles away full of low cost townhouses - entirely different milliu.
I never attended any HS parties in DC where girls pulled a train - we actually got grossed out when one of the girls at my private HS had sex with a couple randon guys at a Potomac house party when she got drunk. Pretty sure the crowd I ran with was far wilder then the prep school boys.

So she finally comes forward 35 years after the fact. She attended numerous parties where this was going on. Probably zealous she wasn’t in on the action..... But then she finally got her turn.

Just not buying it, mostly because of timing.. If this was an issue she would have brought it up long ago.

Huh!?! This affidavit is full of holes.
First, it isn’t even an “affidavit.” It isn’t “sworn” before anyone or under any law that is identified in the affidavit. It isn’t submitted under penalty of perjury. It was a publication that a lawyer put out that could have been a paper back novel.
It identifies a victim who is not alleging she is the victim of anything that Kavanaugh did.
It does not specify any specific event and gives a range of years where the non-crime (as pertains to Kavanaugh) took place.
It says that other witnesses who have told her something but does not identify who those people are and where they can be found. In other words, it erases the mistake Ford made by ensuring that witnesses could not be interviewed to refute the allegation.
The accuser (at least according to her bio) would not likely have been in high school while Kavanaugh was. What was she doing hanging out with underage kids.
I could go on but do I really have to? Lord, this is so Soviet that right about now the old Soviets must be wondering if they actually lost the Cold War.

With this affidavit, Republicans are down to 40 votes at best.
