The reason for her waiting so long is irrelevant. She still waited too long - beyond the statute of limitations, beyond the ability to reconstruct the alleged crime or gather any reliable evidence. For this reason, it must be dismissed.

This whole thing really cheapened the issue of sexual assault for me.
On the one hand, I do maintain some level of sympathy for people who actually have this happen. But the bar is raised (for me) for people who claim to be a victim. You get your sympathy after you show me evidence, and a timely police report. Your claim is not recognized (by me) until you go at least 51% of the way to PROVING that it happened.

The democrats have the best of both worlds.
If she remembers it was Kavanaugh, she is courageous. If the doesn't remember anything else or remembers it incorrectly, she is a traumatized woman.
We all need to remember the hyperventilating throngs of zombies at various dem functions, and realize that virtually all of those crazies would gladly commit perjury for the party.
I can accept why Ford would wait 36 years.
Why did DiFi wait a month?
If someone else wants to cherry-pick aspects of this to focus on and apply their guess on intentions, so will I. DiFi’s actions are the most important aspect of this and it’s nothing but sleazy political games from DiFi that got us here.
There are statutes of limitations for good reason.
There are many. many. many factors that can cloud an incident after 36 years.
The question is not why this shrew waited so long, the question is multi-part:
1. Why is she coming out now?
2. Why does she think her allegation of 17-year old behavior carries over to middle age?
3. Why does she think Judge Kavanaugh is unqualified?
4. Why is she represented by lawyers for HRC connected to Soros? Does she not see how partisan that is?
Such questioning can go on and on resulting in a waste of time because a 35-year background check on this Judge reported him to be an exemplary character with a wonderful family to show for it as well as dozens upon dozens of character witnesses attesting to his good character going back to his teen years.
Judge Kavanaugh is well-qualified to be Justice Kavanaugh.

First of all, Ms Ford has reported something, but what she discribed is not sexual assualt. Simple assualt maybe. No sex act was committed.

The Democrats had this fairy tail a long, long time ago and decided to use this as a confirmation IED to try and blow up Trump’s nomination in order to appease their god, Moloch.

She came out as a last ditch attempt to delay the Kavanaugh’s appointment past the mid-terms.

Apparently she didn’t go to the police when it “happened.” She did not go to the hospital because of the inevitable injuries caused by repeated, non-consensual sex. Why is no one else talking about this?
While Leslie Marshall can come up with reasons for Ford. I can come up with three reasons why Women come forward to lie. The three reasons are the other three women who have come forward with obviously shady lies about Kavanaugh. They are three great examples of women who for politics, fame or money felt no guilt in lying their asses off in full public view. And somehow Ford is different? Ford has lied about not flying, she has totally changed her appearance. And if someone asked her what she has been doing the past week; Its getting her story right. Kavanaugh did not have to get his story right. Its always been the same.
Lying is Empowerment. Empowerment is Supporting the Lies.
