West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and Sen. Joe Manchin (D-WV) are in a dead heat for the West Virginia Senate seat, according to a poll released on Thursday.
A survey commissioned by 1892 Polling for Morrisey’s campaign revealed that Morrisey and Manchin are tied with 45 percent. The 1892 Polling survey found that ten percent of voters remain undecided. The margin of error for the poll is 4.4 percent.
The poll also finds that Morrisey leads amongst independent voters by four points—41 to 37 percent; however, 22 percent of independent voters have yet to make up their minds.
Thursday’s poll also found that President Donald Trump has a 57 percent approval rating and 38 percent view Trump unfavorably. Trump won West Virginia during the 2016 presidential election by more than 40 points.

Manchin could have made life so much easier on himself by switching parties earlier this year. Too late now, Joe. Voting for Judge Kavanaugh is his only gambit.
Any red state D senator that is within polling distance will vote to confirm, so long as reoublican hold the line..
McCaskill’s announcement that she will not support Kavanaugh tells you she knows she’s already lost re-election and sold her vote for whatever she could get form the D party and it’s money men.
Kavanaugh is confirmed with 52-55 votes.

Actually Manchin is going to vote NO because he’s being told by the Dems that conservatives aren’t going to vote for him anyway.

HEELING, W.Va. (WSAZ) — The Trump campaign has announced that the President will make his seventh trip to West Virginia for a “Make America Great Again” rally.
The rally is set for Saturday, September 29th at 7 p.m. in Wheeling.
The event will be held at the Wesbanco Arena.
The President is expected to discuss the economy in addition to campaigning for GOP candidates, including Patrick Morrisey.
Registration is now open for tickets. Doors will open at 4 p.m
