To investigate Ford and whoever is behind her ?
The FBI is NOT the arbitrator of disputes of “he said, she said, they said”. They can only take statements and present raw data to the persons who DO make distinctions and decisions relative to the veracity or plausibility of the statements.
The Democrats, on the basis of nothing whatsoever, have chosen to declare Brett Kavanaugh guilty, regardless of what facts may develop, by the simple expedient of constructing their own version of the facts, reality be damned.
Specious and speculative are not at all the same thing as certainty and corroboration, but the traits are substituted plenty of times.
One word - misidentification. The events described may very well have happened, and in approximately the timeline described, but the wrong players and the wrong locations have been inserted in the narrative.
And why would this be so? Because of the very real tendency for the human mind to tell and retell the course of events as played over in recollections, possibly changing some factor or another, to make the story “better”, and it is the “corrected” version that is the story that finally becomes most “real”.
