Christine Blasey Ford told the US Senate Judiciary Committee that the memories of Brett Kavanaugh “first came up” when she went into counseling in 2012. In May 2012 Ford and her husband argued over her desire to add “a second front door” to their home. Ford told the committee on Thursday the desire for a second door was because Brett Kavanaugh made her “claustrophobic.”

With everything else she didn’t remember that would just be chalked up to that poor memory.She remembered it was Kavanaugh who did that terrible thing to her but didn’t remember any thing other at all. What her obviously explained to her was that she must not give any details that could be refuted by records. With K’s extensive journalization of just about everything, that didn’t leave much.

I don’t think this one sticks. Easily explainable: “We remodeled, my request for a second door happened in 2008, husband and I disagreed (even though we did the remodel) and we finally got around to therapy in 2012.”

When I was a teen, I was at a rodeo and a drunk guy came behind me and grabbed me. I screamed and ran. 40 yrs later, I can still look at cowboys without having a meltdown. Why is she scarred for life?
She could have told a thousand lies and nothing will happen to her. Kavanaugh will get confirmed then Ford will either be used as a pawn for the midterms or tossed aside like so many other useful idiots of the past.

Rachel Mitchell clearly established that if Ford was untruthful about certain present day events - you couldn’t trust her to be completely truthful about something that happened to her a long time ago.
Credible, indeed.
I also wish they asked her why she lied about her "fear" of flying ....
and Blumenthal brought up that principle, trying to imply that if Kavanaugh fudged on one detail, his whole testimony was tarnished. of course, it didn’t fly - because who wants to hear about credibility from the likes of Blumenthal, on the heels of his Vietnam lies??!!
