I pray that I am wrong also. Building a conservative, constitutionally centric Supreme Court is paramount for the continuation of the Republic. We get it and understand the stakes being FReepers, the public at large does not.
A good friend, fairly conservative, lives in Indiana, told me he wasn’t sold on Donnelly’s opponent, Mike Braun. He said Donnelly is a moderate democrat and was considering voting for him. But yesterday evening, my friend was so incensed at the confirmation process that if Donnelly votes “No” on Kavanaugh, he will break his arm pulling the lever for Braun. I’m guessing a number Hoosiers feel the same way.
Joe Donnelly, IMHO, just lost the election.
Indiana. Don’t support anyone who wants to go against God’s precepts and family.
Any incumbent under 50% at this late stage is in trouble. In Joe’s case there are 15% not committing to either. The uncommitted will break for the underdog. Braun with Trump and Pence’s help will be elected.
I was just thinking the same thing, except for Bobby Knight. Even better!
They even had a meeting—the quizzing prosecutor and some members of the Judiciary Committee— and the prosecutor said there’s no way she could even bring this to trial. There is just nothing there.
