Schedule and take the vote as soon as possible as planned in regular order. If Kavanaugh goes down, let it by vote, not by demoncrat tyranny!!
IF another FBI investigation is done will ANYBODY trust them?
The FBI has proven to be corrupt and part of the Deep State. This is nothing but a trap and they will drag this out for months on end.

Squarely on how Grassley handled the committee. He let the Democrats delay delay delay and now Kavanaugh, the best possible Supreme Court judge in my lifetime is screwed and his reputation and family have been dragged thru the mud needlessly and the accusations are without merit. Just the Ford allegations would be investigated.
But I doubt the FBI can find out where, when and with whom it happened.

At least in a week there would be a chance of confirmation and I’ll take that over a guaranteed defeat any day.

McConnell and leadership need to drop the hammer on his caucus NOW. One week later 10 fake allegations will be made and they will all need to be examined.
Can Flake be that stupid? McConnell needs to say NO to any further delays. The FBI has nothing to go on since it never happened.
There is a bright side to this. Maybe the Democrats have given a gift to the GOP.
The Democrats are desperate to keep Kavanaugh, or any other Trump nominee of the Supreme Court. The 2016 Presidential election was primarily about the Supreme Court for most conservatives; even more so for Evangelicals.
Concerns about the GOP base and Evangelicals showing up to vote is no longer a problem. Lots of Evangelicals stayed home in 2016 because they did not believe Trump’s promises to protect religious liberty. That question has been answered. Pro-Life Evangelicals and Roman Catholics voters will show up in huge numbers.
What if the FBI refuses to investigate? I am sure the calls went out today, to Trump and they are talking about it now. A scenario not many have discussed. The three Senators on the fence really are not but are requesting this, the FBI refuses or says not enough evidence to investigate, McConnell asks for the vote and they vote Yes. That is a very plausible scenario
