could there be a shred of sanity among in this move? trying to insure they will have the republican senators on the edge to vote for Kavanaugh and allow them some “justification” with their base? if they went ahead now would they have the votes? not a move to sate the dems appetite but maybe enough to get the confirmation with all republicans on board?
