McConnell can’t do anything if he doesn’t have the votes to go forward.
He doesn’t have the votes, because ones like, Flake, Murkowski, Collins, etc, are not going to vote for Kavanaugh without an FBI investigation.
Therefore, IF the FBI investigates this, there’s going to be an avalanche of new allegations against Judge Kavanaugh by the radical left lawyers, which will keep it going indefinitely.
Just like the Democrats wanted.
If I knew that an FBI investigation would have the impact of completing vindicating Kavanaugh and exposing this attempted coup, I’d be all for it.
But I know that’s not how things work.
