We cannot and should not let that happen.
Dr. Bill Cassidy, MD, a Republican, is the senior senator from Louisiana.
Can we now trust the FBI to do an honest probe/investigation?
Sure, as long as it’s finished in a week.
Get an FBI task force to investigate collusion/conspiracy to corruptly influence the political process.
Leave them working it long after Kavanaugh is confirmed, to root out the whole Democrat/Soros smear infrastructure, before the 2020 elections.
Democrats demanded an FBI investigation, after all.
It was a great plan to squat on Fords letter and fracture a Justices family dynamic, to unsettle the court, and stick a Chinese a thumb in Trumps eye.
The FBI needs to investigate DiFiChiSpy's activities surrounding obstruction of justice in not reporting two crimes as claimed by Dr. Ford - possible manslaughter and sexual assault.
DiFiChiSpy destroyed two families for no other reason than moving forward a political agenda - not in the effort of seeking justice or "protecting" Dr. Ford.
Even with a new director, does anyone know how much of the FBI is deep state?
YES!
THIS!
Simple for the fbi IF they are not under orders to go elsewhere.
Chuckle Cheese Schumer coordinated the whole thing. Plenty of conference calls.
NO !!!!!! A probe like that would definately carry beyond the midterm elections. Get this Ford probe over with, then start an independent probe of the Dems collusion.
I am not to sure Dr. Ford is going to like an FBI colonoscopy. If the FBI gathers negative info about her back in the day she may not appear like the saint she tried to portray herself at the hearing. She may not remember but I bet a lot of her classmates do. At least about her character.
Will the FBI investigate all her postings that she deleted from Facebook?
So now Kennedy makes this claim. Where the hell was he last week? Heck, where was he Thursday? Where were his Senate colleagues? I won’t tell others to not vote, since I cherish the franchise we are given. But the GOP consists of feckless cucks and kuntz, with only rare exceptions. Nary a molecule of courage in the entire bunch. At this point, I’m tired of being taken for a fool. If Republicans are going to betray conservatives over and over, they will get no further help from me at the ballot box. Short of Trumpian candidates miraculously appearing to take their place, we’re done as a self-governing republic.
We’ve reached a point of no return when (so-called) Republicans meekly surrender our most basic right: due process and the presumption of innocence. If those guarantees aren’t afforded to a sitting federal judge, then they are afforded to no one, least of all we plebeians. Forget about getting wiped out in the midterms: that loud noise you hear is the death gong tolling the demise of the Grand Old Party. If we are to be sold into slavery, may it happen quickly. Let our 40 years of wandering the desert
commence apace. Maybe then one day, this nation will wake up to realize the liberties it has lost, and with renewed vigor, undertake a new fight to regain them. The sooner we start, the better.
I apologize for ranting like this, but my optimism is shot. After witnessing Judge Kavanaugh’s impassioned remarks, I thought God had given us a great victory. I went to bed with relief and tremendous joy. After the day’s events on Friday, I now think perhaps God instead has turned his face from America. The wicker prosper, while righteous men flee.
Our nation is deeply wounded and healing appears nowhere on the horizon. Elections now have become our “bread and circuses.”
I welcome anyone who can convince me otherwise.
