Yeah. The notable absence of breathless announcements in the NYT and the WaPo that 157% of Americans believe Kavanaugh is a child-molesting axe-murderer are the dog that didn't bark. They're getting hammered.

I agree, I think the Dems have done it this time and the political fallout from last week is catastrophe for them. Have there been any polls from last week? I haven'r seen any.

We cannot be complacent. VOTE! And drag out anyone you can to go out and vote with you.

Everyone I know, and I mean EVERYONE, whatever their party, is absolutely sick of this complete BS.

Always first and foremost is the very base of this thing, that someone can be charged with drunken messing around at a high school party 36 years ago, when even the “victim” remembers only about half of it, and where no real crime was even committed. If this kind of thing is allowed to continue, everyone knows where it leads.

I’m guessing maybe 80 percent of Americans have thought from the start that this is just plain loony, and dangerous. And by extension, the Democrats are looking completely off the rails the more they keep it going.

In addition, the shrill harpies who confronted Flake yesterday REALLY added to the mix.

This is NOT a good look for a political party hoping to win any hearts and minds, let alone votes.
