The FBI has not been permitted to investigate the claims of Julie Swetnick, a White House official confirmed to NBC News.
WASHINGTON — The White House is limiting the scope of the FBI’s investigation into the sexual misconduct allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, multiple people briefed on the matter told NBC News.
While the FBI will examine the allegations of Christine Blasey Ford and Deborah Ramirez, the bureau has not been permitted to investigate the claims of Julie Swetnick,
Sen. Jeff Flake, Republican of Arizona, who led an 11th hour move in the Senate committee for an FBI inquiry, said he thought the bureau would decide how to carry it out.
Looks like fake news. Investigation of Avenetti is a good thing.
Does this include th he medical history and mental health status of Ford?

They said they would investigate current, credible accusations. The Ford and Ramirez accusations are already stretching credibility. Swetnick’s accusation that BK was a member of a “rape gang” is ridiculous, and anyone represented by Avenatti should be ignored.
Listen to Trump’s words. Trump has ordered an FBI Background Investigation of Kavenaugh. Nothing more and nothing less.

That makes sense. Sweatnik never accused him of anything other than being at a party where Sweatnik served alcohol to minors and engaged in sexual activity with them ... uh, I mean -- something happened.
So the next delay asked for will have to include Swetnick I guess.

Would not surprise me if this report was accurate because the senate wanted a limited investigation of CREDIBLE allegations. The swetnick Avenatti is pure BS.

Agree. Her allegations are absurd and the easiest to disprove. Unlike Ford, she has two to three years of parties to provide evidence for. Not investigating her allows her to say whatever she wants.
Trump is wise. This is the kind of limit that should have been placed on the Russia probe to stop it from its ever-expanding scope. We have had enough of “investigative creep”.
Well we sure wouldn’t want them investigating any democrat treachery, right? See, we give democrats an inch and we end up letting them take a mile every time.

It seems like Avenetti has some very powerful puppetmasters behing him though. This might be the real reason the FBI is not going there.
I wonder if this will be brought up in his interview tomorrow with 60 minutes which he did along with Coons?
