I think it depends on state laws. If a third party used the doxxing to locate you and then committed a crime, I would think a lawsuit would be possible. And I think misuse of congressional records and equipment might be illegal, although AFAIK nothing happened to the Awans.
If they didn't contact the capitol cops, they should.
