No, but crime is crime. But the rule of law is dead, so I wouldn’t worry about it.

Who influences SEC? Congressional types with United Launch Alliance money in their district.

(Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) Project Blackjack is a facet of Trump’s Space Force. Blackjack is tasked with development/implementation of a constellation of thousands of Low-Earth-Orbit satellites for military purposes. This requires a massive space-launch capability at low cost.

SpaceX has been approved to launch a constellation of thousands of LEO communication satellites for the stated purpose of direct-to-ground(StarLink) internet service. They are developing a new fully reusable heavy lift launch vehicle(BFR) with a nine meter diameter payload fairing as the cargo version. Block-I version will deliver 100 metric ton payload.

Re: “For the common person, the future is not self driving electric cars. It’s Ford F150 pick ups, Silverados and Ram Trucks. The most sold vehicles in the market are gas guzzling behemoths.”

I am in basic agreement with everything you wrote.

However, it is important to keep in mind that the price of oil has surged from $30 to $75 during the last 32 months.

At the very least, that will be an incentive for governments everywhere to extend, or increase, subsidies to alternative vehicles.

Tesla, the company, was also fined, and paid, $20 million.

Today I bought a monthly public transportation pass because it was reduced recently from 37 to 27 euros.

Told my wife I am going to take buses just to find out where they go. She said I can read that on the front of the bus. Who knew?
