Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., gave President Trump rare praise Monday for the renegotiated trade deal between the U.S., Mexico, and Canada announced earlier in the day.

Schumer said that Trump "deserves praise" for taking "large steps" to improve the outgoing North American Free Trade Agreement, which Trump had derided for years as a "disaster." The new deal, known as the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement, or USMCA, was reached late Sunday night between the three countries after months of negotiations.

“As someone who voted against NAFTA and opposed it for many years, I knew it needed fixing. The president deserves praise for taking large steps to improve it," Schumer said. "However, any final agreement must be judged on how it benefits and protects middle-

Humph. I had a hard time believing that. I looked it up, Schumer was in the House in 1993; he did vote against the NAFTA implementation.

Maybe when Trump said he has seen some democrats in drunk compromising situations he meant Schumer.

He meant more than schumer.

Since Trump didn't drink, has an IQ of 156+, and owned many luxury hotels where these dirt bags brought their hookers and boy friends, you know that Trump has mucho dirt on many of these low lifes.

This is easy, folks. The real polling numbers - the ones the politicians pay for but don’t share - show a Red Pro-President Trump wave coming. The Dems are panicking and don’t want to get tsunamied under.

This tells me that their nakedly partisan hit jobs over the past two weeks are not playing well with independents so he needs to throw a bone to Trump as a means of showing he’s “fair minded”.

President Trump always gives a warning.

I think he has had enough of the Democrats and put a shot across their bow. The President is not afraid of opposition and is willing to compromise, but the constant attacks do get annoying.

Schumer may see their antics are creating a Red Wave. Maybe his thinks it is time back off and see if they can salvage something from the mess they made over the past two years.

Keep in mind that over half the autos manufactured in the USA are built by NON UNION workers.

Chuck U is a filthy democrat. Every thing they do is suspect. And not for the good of the country.

He’s not up to anything. He’s grudgingly stating the obvious: that US dairy farmers have been taking it in the shorts for years on the previous trade deal. And dairy farming in NYS has been suffering greatly. Thanks for nothing, Chuck U. But thank God for Trump!
