"Republicans will attempt to defy history this November and hold the House majority. Historically, a presidents party typically loses significant Congressional seats in non-presidential election years. Republicans gained a historic 64 seats in 2010 when Barack Obama was in office, while Democrats took 32 seats in 2006 during George W. Bushs second term in office.
The Democrats need to win 23 Seats to win the House majority, which would only give them a slim majority of 218 to 217 seats. Republicans have used their legislative victories such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, as well repealing Obamacares individual mandate, and the skyrocketing economy to bolster their midterm message."
Let's do it! VOTE!

This isn’t about any one of us, but if those Republicans who only vote in Presidential Elections feel half the anger I have felt over the past 2 weeks, they will show up and it will be a Red Wave.
We have the numbers, we just have to show up!
I have been upset with myself that I have let this Kavanaugh hearing actually affect my mood! I have been angry for 2 weeks over all of this. Friday morning, for example, I was great - Flake was a Yes vote, all good. Then I learned he caved, and it literally ruined my day. Have to fight that, but if less political people share in our collective disgust, we will indeed keep the House and Senate.
Good news for sure.
You mean the gop-e actually wants to win in November????
I love how they conflate losing seats with losing the house.
Liars, the lot of them.
POOP... Complete spontaneous outrage in support of Kavanaugh and Trump, driven by cold outrage at the scumbag democrat swine that infest our country.
I can’t wait to vote! I’ll early vote again this fall and it can’t come soon enough. The Dems I know are all keeping very, very quiet. Well the sane Dems anyway. The insane ones are getting more and more outrageous every day. I really do think that the sane ones, while they can’t pull the lever for a Republican, will not vote for the Dem candidate. I have a cousin who is a diehard liberal democrat that actually worked for Stabenow and he hasn’t said a single word, which for him is highly unusual.
That’s average of 110 per state, probably less workers in tiny states like RI, more in giant states like Texas.
But this needs to become a permanent institution, until these low-lifes quit, or hell freezes over, whichever comes first.
I’m in Israel, and have registered to vote by absentee ballot. We need an organization here, too, to make sure every overseas American votes in each country where they’re overseas.
Bttt
Well, there were 63 million of us that showed up to vote for President Trump, and he’s done nothing but garner new supporters since 2016, so this SHOULD be easy-peasy!
Let’s not blow it! Vote accordingly! MAGA! :)
I’m all for this and obviously will vote straight ticket R this cycle, as I do every cycle.
But it would be really nice if the Republicans would refrain from having to dig themselves out of holes.
Michael Obama is telling people to vote!
I’m still going to vote,anyhow. ;)
Hope that's true across the country. TV and digital ads are a waste pf money if you're targeting someone like me. I either, mute, change the channel, or turn the TV off as soon as a political ad comes on and I throw away every single piece of junk mail I receive without reading any of it. It's not uncommon to get 5-10 pieces a day, every day. Sometimes for the same candidate.
However, if someone wants to talk to me...I'm ok with that.
I’m part of this effort.
