Jeff Flake: ‘We Can’t Have That on the Court’
The Atlantic ^ | 10/02/2018 | Elaina Plott

As the Senate awaits the results of the FBI investigation into the Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, Jeff Flake, one of the lawmakers who spurred the inquiry, criticized the judge Tuesday for his recent appearance in the upper chamber.

Speaking with Jeffrey Rosen, the president of the National Constitution Center, and Democratic Senator Chris Coons at The Atlantic Festival on Tuesday morning, Flake called the judge’s interactions with lawmakers “sharp and partisan.”

“We can’t have that on the Court,” said the Arizona senator, who didn’t elaborate on which interactions he was referring to.

No, this payoff will take years... it’s that important to the Swamp and Soros. I’m sure Coons was giving it the hard sell but I’m also sure Flake was taking full advantage of his leverage. Shameful.

If the FBI report that Flake demanded produces nothing to incriminate Kavanaugh, how can Flake dare vote no?

Flake is looking for a gig on a news network where he'll be the token "conservative" who will trash anything remotely conservative all the while giving the network a claim to "balance".

You know, the brave rebel speaking truth to power and all that.

So what else is new — he’s just falling in line with his rat-buds. First he needed further FBI investigation, and now, just like every other democrat, since the FBI can’t find anything damning, Kavanaugh’s anger and arrogance are unacceptable. Hold the vote anyway; let the pieces (flakes) fall where they may. Lindsey had a good idea...when the election is over and the gambling red state dems are gone, Trump can re-nominate Kavanaugh and he will be voted in.

Well we can’t have you in the Senate, Mr Flake.

Flake was never going to vote for Kavanaugh.

Ever since he asked for the FBI to look again at allegations, he’s been making appearances with his good buddy, Coon, before left-wing audiences and eating up his newfound fame with them.

McConnell saying he will take the vote this week is probably to just go ahead and get this whole thing over with.

He knows it’s not fair to Judge Kavanaugh and his family to have his confirmation out there dangling in the wind.

Flake needs to watch his vulnerabilities.

They have enough pedo evidence on him to put him away forever.

Dana Perino made a great point yesterday on the five. She pointed out how openly partisan RBG has been on the court. Tough to argue with that line of thinking.

This jackass things he is John McCain jr. He thinks this will help him be the GOPE “moderate” choice to run against Trump in 2020.

Someone better sit this ass clown down and explain “John McCain got away with crap because he was widely viewed as a war hero. People respected his history. You aren’t. Even rabid anti Trumper what Judge K on the Court. You block Judge K and you will not be able to even be elected dog catcher in your own home town”

Making others miserable...primarily his wife and children, followed by him, then an ever-increasing portion of the American people, who, I believe, are fed up with this three-ring circus.

The slimey weasel will probably call a presser 10 minutes before the vote and announce he is switching parties and will vote no.

When he is asked why he will mumble that Chris Coons bought his balls from John McCrazy a few weeks before he assumed room temperature.

The way the polls are going, we might get Tester even. Unless he doesn’t want to try to win reelection at all. Manchin and Heitkamp can’t ignore the state polls that show 60% of their voters want Kavanaugh confirmed when they have to face said voters in less than a month.

We can’t have behavior like that it the Senate either, but here we are. Obnoxious cretins abusing their positions AT HIM, and they get angry because he noticed.

“We’ll see”...one of my favorite Trump expressions. He leaves things open for deal-making.

Has any other president gotten so much done without using the military? I don’t think so.

Lots of soldiers and their families must be quite happy about that.
