Sad. RIP.
I worked in weapons’ testing for years. Bombs and missiles never bothered me, but mines, mortars, and anti-personnel ordnance were always scary. We have more emplaced mines now than any time in history, and this story is repeated almost daily in many areas.
The indescrimnate and unstable nature of these weapons is inhumane to say the least. God bless those working to clear them, and God’s peace be upon those grieving families torn asunder by their detonations.
