The article claims this event was a hate crime worthy of severe punishment for name calling. It also seems to have taken place in Canada. The article claims the “victims” were African-American. The question on everyone’s mind is, were they not, rather, African-Canadian? (See how silly this sounds?)

This is Ontario County in Upstate NY. I get that all the time when I call in to Dell, HP, etc. they think I’m calling from Canada. Since you can’t go directly across Lake Ontario It’s about a 2 hour plus drive from here to the Canadian border.

Hate may be the motive for a crime, but isn't itself the crime.

Any jury I'm on where the DA has charged "hate crime," is an automatic "not guilty."
