Rachel Mitchell expertly eviscerates the case against Kavanaugh
Washington Post ^

The decision by Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Charles E. Grassley to have Arizona sex crimes prosecutor Rachel Mitchell question Christine Blasey Ford may well be remembered as a brilliant — and quite possibly pivotal — choice.

No doubt, allowing Mitchell to ask questions instead of Republican senators served a defensive purpose, avoiding the spectacle of a bunch of old, white men publicly questioning a woman who says she was a victim of sexual abuse. But Mitchell’s methodical, genial approach left many supporters of Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh deeply frustrated, with some complaining that Mitchell was “not laying a glove” on Ford.

Yes. Trace the accounts that ‘donated’ the money to her. Dem operation uses pre-paid credit cards. Follow the money.

Ford also said “Silicon Valley” people were going to step in and pay all her expenses. Who is that?

How’d she clear her entire social media profile and how’d her criminal charges in North Carolina disappear?

I just wish the FBI investigation would continue another few weeks because this is destroying the Democrats for midterms. They’re toast.

The republicans must have known Ford prepped that lady for a polygraph, that's why Rachel Mitchell asked the question. Stupid democrats, zero strategic thinking ability.

I wish Rachel would have said she committed PERJURY!!!

Why would you want to do a thing like that when you can let the FBI investigators that the Democrats and the media were loudly demanding to investigate do it for you

The Democrats are really stupid people

All these pc senators tip toeing around said Ford was credible. She was not credible. But she came across as a sympathetic figure. That’s a big difference.

The senators will determine if she perjured herself.

Yeah, a lot of the donors are probably the same guys named Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse that donated to the Obama campaign using pre paid credit cards purchased with untraceable cash

2. Trust me, I want to see these dirtbags prosecuted more than anyone. I just don’t believe it will happen, even if the case is crystal clear. And that is even IF the Republicans hold the Senate. I hope I am wrong, but recent history (the last 10+ years) suggests that only conservatives get prosecuted. Liberals get a pass because its for “The Cause”.

We in a whole new ball game with Trump in the driver's seat.

Two good reads now from USA TODAY and WAPOOP. People are getting it, the pollsters are telling the Dems the reality and the media is looking for another scandal to create... Trump Taxes.

That’s not what ALL Freepers were saying. Some were busy clutching pearls, others decided to let it roll.

I admit to having my fainting couch at the ready, and my pearls were thoroughly clutched.

you weren’t the only one. Every talking head was saying it was a disaster for the Republicans. Turns out almost everyone missed it. It was a brilliant move.

I think you’re right. It’s a fraud by the underworld in some way — or it can be used too easily for that purpose.

I just don’t think the average little citizen can comprehend Ms. Mitchell’s questioning. It was drawn out (no fault of her) and did not hit hot buttons the American people expect.

Man, the comment section there makes my head hurt. They’re not even listening to what the article is saying and most just respond with some version of, “This author is a clown. Get rid of him.”

I think the FBI needs to look into Go Fund ME.

That's easy to answer. She had about 20,000 donors averaging about $40 a piece. There are probably 20,000,000 potential donors in the pool of liberals/leftists. I am only surprised that she did not get more donations.

I notice now that Dana Perino is saying nice things about Trump. I think Chris Wallace did too. And Graham is his friend now? Did we just phase into an alternative universe?
