Yes. It was to make Ford comfortable and set Ford up for perjury. She was playing a long game and it came across confusing because of fo the 5-minute format.
Can you imagine after a question by one of the Republicans, the Dem Senators would explode and attack the Republican. Rachel Mitchell was perfect, she stopped a good portion of what this testimony could have devolved to.
me too..i was frustrated with her....but shes been doing this for 26 years and im sure has heard plenty of fake “rape” stories.....she really sealed her up nicely...bravo.
