“They raised my minimum wage to $15 in the little cafe where I worked. But then they wouldn’t pay for my parking, so now I either have to pay for that or take the bus which takes money and time. We also could take a sandwich for free and a drink for lunch break - but that was taken away too. They had to raise the prices, so now not as many people come in, and the tips are a lot lower.”
