“”If there aren’t 34 dramatic moments [between now and then], it will be ‘my base versus your base,’ “ Miringoff said. He noted that the Republican move to push Kavanaugh’s confirmation forward, despite his unpopularity and that more people believe accuser Christine Blasey Ford than Kavanaugh, appears to be intended to fire up the GOP base in hopes of retaining control of Congress.”

If there aren’t 34 dramatic moments...meaning more emotional smears and lies, or, another last minute “surprise.” Despite Kavanaugh’s unpopularity...written from the special perspective of the Left. More people believe Ford? Really? Perhaps people who have never been on the receiving end of an obvious lie. Are there such people? Did they grow up in a cave? Also, firing up the base has always been the point of a campaign. It’s rare that you swing people to your side who are not already on your side. In reality, if you don’t have the base behind you 100% you are counting on swinging people who vote on looks and thick, appealing hair.

The Democrat Party has branded itself as a party of intolerant bullies.

I haven’t lived there since 1996 but it is tempting to try and register to vote absentee in New Jersey just to vote against Menedez

I won’t but the temptation is there
