You misunderstand ny point. It’s not that I am going to vote for some third party guy. It’s a point about the political effect of failure to seat Kavanaugh in dampening voter turnout. It may be up overrall for the Republicans over this, but failure will reduce it somewhat. That falloff can cost some elections.

Yeah sure. I’m gonna vote democrat over republican if Kavanaugh doesn’t get confirmed? Not a snowballs chance in hell! I may distrust and be disgusted with republicans, but vote for a party that has PUBLICLY said they want to take us out?? Ummmmm..... Hell no. Never. Ever.

It thanks for throwing that wet blanket out there

And yet, despite this all, Jeff Flake will still vote NO.

If the GOP retains control of both houses the Dems are going to have an inquisition. Feinstein and Schumer will be toast. So will Pelosi.

I dislike the headline. It looks like a provocative dog whistle to unstable Dems to act dangerously. There has to be a more appropriate word than assassination that should have been used.

See my reply (41) to 39. You also seem to have missed my point.

President Trump is definitely a practitioner of the Napoleon quote: "“Never interfere with your enemy when he is making a mistake."

With all due respect, then why does he keep re-inserting himself on such issues only to draw fire away from the target?

A good man was Borked in 1987, when President Reagan no longer had what it took to defend his man. Thank God we have President Trump who (1) nominated a good man, and (2) continues to stand behind his man, even in the face of a lynch mob.

With Trump keeping as many promises as he has and with the economy booming why the hell does the GOP need re-uniting ?

Nah. He was mostly quiet until the chips fell.

Defense against the politics of personal destruction and denial of automatic white guilt, male guilt and male white guilt is a right-wing cause. Got it!

More important, it’s helping Trump to take control of the GOP, the Flakes are on their way out.

The Democrats will give her money if she votes against Kavanaugh. She could take the money and run.

A person could think President Trump orchestrated this whole thing.

Kavenaugh has a Never Trumper George Bush connection. I think President Trump knew that and planned to use it to his advantage.

How else to you get a good conservative judge confirmed by a RINO filled Senate, as the swing vote on the SC.

That’s exactly what I was about to post. Is it possible he really is this clever? (I think: yes.)
