It's a conservative majority only if Roberts shows some reliability. If he can be blackmailed, then his last name may as well be Kennedy. Post #68 finally hints at the real effect of "replacing Kennedy with Kavenaugh.” Namely, that Roberts will be the swing vote on the court.
That’s why I put the sentence above in scare quotes: de facto, Roberts is replacing Kennedy. We hope.
