It will be over soon, and it will drive conservatives to the polls. Could be a win-win
I liked Burr well enough when he was in Congress, but he truly went native as a Senator.
I worked on his first Senate campaign and am embarrassed to have done so now.

All that’s knowable about Kavanaugh is known.
Have the vote.
If Kavanaugh loses, Trump just has to name someone else on his list and the Senate can vote eight days later.
If Collins or Murkowski sells us out, they can explain to their electorate why their state was left out of the next infrastructure bill when they run for reelection.

Agree and have been saying this all along. All the Demonrats needed was one person who was approximately the same age as Judge Kavanaugh who lived in the general area during that time. The rats are already working on this for the next judicial nominee.

My understanding is that all 51 committed to voting for cloture when they approved the additional FBI investigation. So, cloture is pretty much assured.
