A top lawyer working with the Democratic National Committee and Clinton campaign contacted the FBIs general counsel in late 2016 and provided documents for the Russia probe as federal investigators prepared a surveillance warrant for Trump campaign aide Carter Page, sources close to a congressional investigation told Fox News, citing new testimony.
The FBI official who was contacted, James Baker, revealed the exchange to congressional investigators during a closed-door deposition Wednesday. He said Perkins Coie lawyer Michael Sussmann initiated contact with him and provided documents as well as computer storage devices on Russian hacking. The sources said Baker described the contact as unusual and the only time it happened.

So, Baker only assaulted the American Way in this way once....
How many other ways did he develop?

Reading Grssleys letter(7 Jun 2017) to Fusion I find this paragraph telling:
Regarding your claim of attorney work product privilege, your attorney has failed to explain how Fusions work was completed in anticipation of litigation. On a phone call with Committee staff, your attorney vaguely indicated that Fusions work was done in anticipation of the FBIs investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election. Your attorneys assertion lacked any detail necessary to properly consider its merit. Moreover, given the circumstances, it appears that Fusions work was conducted in anticipation of the presidential election, rather than in anticipation of any litigationin which case the privilege does not apply.
That tells me that the dossier was produced specifically to give the FBI and IC a reason to go to the FISA for surveillance of Trump and his staff.

That should be DOCTOR Carter Page, since the media has informed us that having a PhD implies that a person is SMART and must be BELIEVED.
Democrat Criminal Opertives

Apparently they are starting to roll up the coup.
Any word on FISA declass ?
Sessions was supposed to deliver to House Jud Comm today .
Baker, who had a close working relationship with former FBI Director James Comey, left the bureau earlier this year.
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
So, Baker is in DEEP .... does he want to mitigate what happened to the benefit of Comey, Rosenstein et al or save his own hide? I don't think he'll be flipping a coin for the answer.

Hinnen previously worked as a prosecutor in the Departments Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section, as a Director in the National Security Councils Directorate for Combating Terrorism, and as Chief Counsel to then-Senator Joseph Biden. His wide-ranging responsibilities on national-security and law-enforcement issues have included supervising the federal governments major terrorism- and espionage-related investigations and prosecutions, representing DOJ on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, and testifying before Congress on a variety of intelligence issues, including expiring Patriot Act authorities.
Hinnen will join Perkins Coie partner Michael Sussmann, a nationally recognized expert in Internet law who has established a leading practice at the intersection of privacy, technology, and national-security issues. Todd is an exceptionally talented lawyer who will bring a wealth of experience at the very highest levels to our clients facing challenging criminal and national-security issues, said Sussmann. In 2002, Hinnen joined Sussmann in DOJs Computer Crime & Intellectual Property Section, where Hinnen prosecuted several high-profile cases, including the first trial of an individual alleged to have provided material support to terrorism over the Internet and the convictions of several high-profile state and federal officials in connection with a plot to prevent voters from reaching the polls. I started working with Todd a decade ago, and Im thrilled that well be working together again as he re-enters private practice, Sussmann said.
Hinnen will join Perkins Coies growing Privacy and Security Practice, advising clients on criminal and national-security investigations, regulatory compliance, and interactions with law enforcement, national security, homeland security, and intelligence agencies. He will also counsel companies on mergers, acquisitions, and other foreign investments in domestic entities that impact national security. As Acting Assistant Attorney General with the DOJs National Security Division, Hinnen was responsible for reviewing all such transactions as a member of the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States.
Effective national security increasingly requires close collaboration and communication between government agencies and the private sector, said Hinnen. I look forward to using my government experience to assist private companies interacting with the law-enforcement and national-security communities. Perkins Coie has a long, distinguished history of representing technology and defense industry leaders in such matters. This is a great fit for me.
Hinnen drafted legislation relating to national-security and criminal-justice policy while serving as Chief Counsel to then-Senator Joseph Biden. As a member of the Obama-Biden Presidential Transition team, he prepared Justice Elena Kagan for her confirmation hearing for the position of Solicitor General. Prior to that, Hinnen served under President George W. Bush as a director in the National Security Councils Directorate for Combating Terrorism. Following his graduation from Harvard Law School, he clerked on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
Both Hinnen and Sussmann are available to comment on Hinnens transition to Perkins Coie as well as broader cybersecurity, privacy, and national-security issues.
If Everyone Flips, NO ONE will be held to account and go to Prison where they belong!
why wasn’t Baker forthcoming with this information a year ago?
Usually the first to flip gets the deal, the rest are SOL so it pays to flip/sing early.
But I have heard that almost everyone is supposedly flipping!
“Unusual”
But the whole initiation by Clinton of the FBI probe against Trump.
Once is all it takes. Especially when the FBI chooses winners and losers.
I guess this Russian Election Collusion slipped by Mueller. But seriously, I would think handcuffs and a swat style raid and full seizure of everything of the law firm would have happened by now
Wanna bet this is the payoff for a yet to be disclosed role in the Uranium One deal.
