Protesters had to remind Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., not to overlook Native Americans as she listed groups of people she claims lack power in politics.

"I am angry because of everyone who has lost power," Warren said at a Thursday demonstration against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh in Washington, D.C.

Warren, a possible 2020 Democratic presidential contender, evoked African-Americans, Latinos, and members of the LGBTQ community as examples before some people in the crowd shouted out "Native Americans."

Charlotte-Mecklenburg school system is all about the top echelon, while throwing money at the bottom to pay off the rent-seekers even if the students learn nothing. Union County, where I live, has a different set of constraints, but none of the systems wins when a student says, “I want to go to South Piedmont Community College and learn to install air conditioners!”

It makes no sense to say that 90% of people are above average and will benefit from four years of college. A year of community college or even less in a medical aide program will qualify a person for $15-20/hour jobs, as many hours as they can work.

I thought the rural electrification act of 1936 under FDR fixed that kind of thing.

I propose a new FR rule: anytime there is a thread about Fauxcohontas, someone must post a COSPLAY Fauxcohontas pic.
