Good evening, radu...did you have a winner booth today? Lots of good folks stop in?
It’s getting chilly here....mid 40s right now and we have had some rain. They say more to come.
Howdy, beachie.
Bummer that I got here too late to catch you here. Had to work a booth at the county fair and am just getting settled in. Desperately needed some supper first. I wuz hawngree! LOL
I hope all’s going well and that you’re enjoying some decent fall weather at last. Someone needs to because we sure aren’t getting any yet. :-)
Howdy, PRO.
Boy, am I jealous of your weather!! Well, maybe not those night time 30s but those daytime 60s sound wonderful!
Howdy, Kathy.
We had several folks stop by the booth and got a new registered voter. WOOHOO! Her hubby was already registered but she hadn’t bothered .... until this evening.
Whew! BRRRR! 40s sound too chilly for this ol’ gal. We’d like to have some cooler temps but I’m not ready for 40s just yet. It’s 70 here right now at 11 p.m.
Got everything you need for your brother? More importantly, do you have your list ready? Your rake is close by and handy for him to grab, I hope. LOL
Howdy, LUV.
I’d say it’s a REALLY safe bet to say you’re having a large time with the crowd tonight. :-)
Good evening, Luv on a trip. Send a pic or two of your surroundings, please.
And above all else...HAVE FUN!
When do you move the spiders out of your rifle?
This evening, we were entertained by a pair of foxes that hang around. This is a wildlife preserve so there are lots of critters, including peacocks, cats and now foxes. Right now I'm listening to dogs and coyotes yipping in the distance
Fortunately the lawn guys will get all the leaves in the yards, BUT he can sweep them off the deck. I just sweep them over the edge onto the grass...for the lawn guys. LOL!
Six FReepers together make for a great “warm-up” party. LOL!
Neat that you’re at a wildlife preserve. Who knows what all you’ll see wandering around before the weekend’s over. Those foxes are cuties.
You can have the coyotes though. If I never see or hear another one, it’ll suit me just fine.
Aaaaah, you have lawn guys? Cool!
As many leaves as there are and as fast as they’re coming down, I’m guessin’ there’ll be plenty more on the deck to be swept off. :-)
Yeah...I’m not fond of coyotes either. I think the guy that runs this place feeds his cats and then the foxes eat the leftovers. I saw one of the cats on the big cement slab at the same time as one of the foxes and they just seemed unafraid of one another.
Cats and foxes seem to get along ok. There are a couple who hang out here sometimes and our cats haven’t been afraid of them.
The man who lives behind our farm has dogs and the foxes spend more time there. He live-traps them each year, feeds them food with tranquilizers in it, and gives them rabies shots once they’re zonked out. Once they’re wide awake again, he releases them.
LOL! Maybe that’s what I need to do with those kittens! Wonder how I get me some of that food. :)
How's everyone this morning?
The food’s just regular food that he puts the tranquilizers in.
Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUZ))
Were you and Gizmo able to go to the lake or did rain move in?
One more nice day and then we have rain the forecast.
I might ask Tessa about that. It would sure keep me from getting scratched again. LOL!
Glad to hear the weather behaved. There was rain moving into the northern part of the state late last night and I didn’t know if it would get down to your area and spoil your fun.
I don’t know how well it would work that way with cats. They eat more slowly and would probably taste it and not eat the part with the med in it. Dogs - and foxes - take bigger bites and swallow before they taste the bitterness.
But it’s worth looking into. You NEED to get those girlies spayed soon!
