So if you're in the military and suddenly get deployed you should have the right to stay home with your family if you have previous plans, and don't think you're needed, but promise to fly in if something goes wrong? You have no understanding of how stupid your comments are. He's got a duty to his country, and his sacrifice won't result in mental or physical scars that can change your entire life permanently the way they can in war. That's what makes his actions so disgusting. This vote is just as important to the defense of our nation as our military, but the sacrifices sure aren't equal. This pampered baby needs to understand the power he holds, and go to work and earn his salary.
Daines is being a selfish elitist, and should be ashamed of himself if he can't be bothered to use his power to cast such an important vote. If he doesn't cast a vote to confirm Kavanaugh he will be an embarrassment to the party, even if Kavanaugh is still confirmed. Hopefully he hears from enough people to realize they expect him to do his job, and decides to go to work and defend our country with a simple vote, and then fly back home. I'm sure he can do it without getting PTSD.
