I agree - this was a test vote. Collins, Flake, and Manchin could have just voted No to cloture and that alone would have ended Kavanaugh. Then they could be off for the weekend. They didn’t vote No.

Flake is a Mormon. That alone should have him side as he exits to ensure that a conservative gets on this court for the sake of not just the country but his children.

Why would you say that? Mormons are definitely on the progressive side of the GOP. No question they are not part of the conservative wing of the GOP based on policies they support.

If true that Murkowski is a no vote, I do not know how much more the Republican Party is going to need to be convinced that she needs to go. Murkowski owes her senate seat to the democrats who voted her in. She has more allegiance to that leftist, anti Republic party than to the Republican party that tolerates her unreliable support. If no opponent can be had in Alaska, it would be nice if a good Republican candidate could be brought in from outside Alaska who wanted to live there. Let Murkowski officially become a democrat and run with them instead of sabotaging and backstabbing the Republican party that she now feeds on.

Who would allow slanderous vile lies concocted by the left influence you to vote no even after yet another FBI investigation?

In addition to being liberal Murkowski is BFF with Feinswine. DiFi is 85 and in the toughest reelection of her life. I’m sure that is playing into a Murkowski no vote.

Again, according to Fox, 20 women from Alaska cornered Murkowski in her office this morning claiming to be sexual assault victims. She was apparently swayed by them.

I have no doubt Murk’s sisters with PP put the pressure on her, but based on Kavanaugh’s suitability for the SCOTUS bench — for which he’s eminently qualified — there is no cause on earth for her to vote NO.

Damn those corrupt Murkowskis...

She was apparently swayed by them.

If so, she's an idiot.

Even if they were all raped in the most vile fashion imaginable, their experience has no bearing on the blatantly false accusations thrown at Judge Kavanaugh.

Yep. But wouldn’t the Democrat governor veto it? Maybe they’ll have to wait for a Republican to be elected governor in November and sworn in (I believe in December).

Didn’t work last time. She was primaried out, and somehow won as a write-in, IIRC.

But she was supported by the GOP-E then, wasn’t she? George W. supports Kavanaugh so the Establishment Republicans are surely angry with her and won’t support her next time.

BS, Kavenaugh was cleared. Murkowski was a no before this crap started she was hedging from the get go citing the abortion issue. She takes boatloads of money PP. She voted against DeVos because she is pro life. Murk is among the most vile people in the Senate.
