Doing that and keeping the House under GOP control would send the Left into convulsions.
I like your dreams, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Unless something changes, it will be about a +3 in the Senate, -7 in Governorships (from a massive 33-16 lead down to 26-24), and -20 to -25 in the House (and -23 is the magic number... I'm predicting that the magical Majority Seat #218 will take DAYS to finally get called... for one Party or another.)
On NOV 7, nobody will have a large lead in any elected body, and everything will be a close call for the next 2 years.
2020 then becomes a shocking and irrepressible monster, doubling the total spending of any previous cycle, and the campaigns and ads begin around March of 2019... less than 6 months from now... and making the Kavanaugh smears look like a handshake.
