Hundreds of protesters stormed the U.S. Capitol steps Saturday afternoon to protest the looming vote on Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh.
They yelled “Shame! Shame!” as they marched from the Supreme Court across First Street to the grounds of the Capitol, pushing past police and conducting a sit-in on the east front steps of the Capitol.
The steps are restricted area, and police began to arrest protesters just after 1 p.m., hours ahead of the 3:30 p.m. vote.
There were a few supporters of President Trump and Judge Kavanaugh mixed in the crowd, but they were overwhelmingly outnumbered by ‘resistance’ activists.
Protests have been ongoing throughout the Capitol grounds and Senate office buildings over the past few weeks since Christine Blasey Ford came forward with her allegation of sexual misconduct against the president’s nominee.
Roughly 100 people were arrested on Friday ahead of the Senate’s procedural vote moving forward on Judge Kavanaugh’s confirmation.

Unfortunately, the Leftards of Washington, DC govt make the local courts a quick revolving door for all the arrested protestors. No jail time, no real consequences. Violate our laws with impunity. Do what you like so long as it is in the name of a left-wing “cause”....
oh, Ford cares, she sure as hell cares. It’s just that she and her attorneys are now trying to weasel out of consequences for their unethical and illegal behaviors, so they want to wrap this up in a bow and pretend it is all in the past.
I wonder what idiot PR “expert” came up with the idea of screaming “Shame!” as a tactic? It just makes them sound like the world’s worst evil parent. The kind where the kid escapes out of the window in the middle of the night to run away from home.
How amazing that, although millions of Americans have died, voluntarily, for the cause of life and liberty, these “protesters” of Justice Kavanaugh, despite the 1973 Roe v. Wade ruling, survived their trip through the birth canal, and can find nothing better to do with their lives than to disrupt and “protest” the current President!
Funny how the left portrayed the repubs as the evil 1%.

Don’t know if it’s true, but another post said some of these “protesters” were paid as much as $30 an hour. Disgusting!
